9x17in poster for Decoding the Language of Trees, a series of events organized by the Joanne Waxman Library at Maine College of Art & Design.

About:

The Language of Trees by Katie Holten was the Common Read for all incoming freshmen students at Maine College of Art & Design. The design of the book includes a creation of a forest alphabet. The imagery and typography directly reference the cover of the book while using the College’s established typeface of Expo Serif.
