Scope:
This project was initially brought to the Marketing & Communications team at Maine College of Art & Design as a signage project for the Joanne Waxman Library, supplemental to our developing wayfinding system.About:
Steve Bowden and I jumped at the opportunity to give our school’s library an identity of its own. At the time I was reading Jan Tschichold’s “The Form of the Book” and became heavily inspired by the elegance of classical typography in books. And so, I developed this logo in admiration of the books the library.
